New TV Ad on “Seniors’ Bill of Rights”
WASHINGTON – The Republican National Committee (RNC) today unveiled a new national television ad highlighting its Seniors’ Bill of Rights, which specifies six protections that must be part of any effort to reform health care. The web video, entitled “Seniors’ Bill of Rights,” can be viewed here:
Starting today, this targeted television ad campaign will run on select national cable networks and will also be aired in Florida.
“Republicans strongly support common-sense health care reform that would lower health care costs, preserve quality, keep families and doctors in charge of health care decisions, and end frivolous lawsuits. However, the first measure of any comprehensive health care reform must be to first do no harm, especially to seniors. The time has come for President Obama and Congressional Democrats to scrap their plans for a government-run health care experiment and join Republicans in agreeing on these important health care protections for seniors.” – RNC Chairman Michael Steele

Public Support For Democrats’ Government-Run Health Care Experiment At All Time Low. “Public support for the health care reform plan proposed by President Obama and congressional Democrats has fallen to a new low as just 42% of U.S. voters now favor the plan. That’s down five points from two weeks ago and down eight points from six weeks ago.” (“Support For Congressional Health Care Reform Falls To New Low,” Rasmussen Reports, 8/11/09)
Despite This, Democrats Accuse People Of Taking Part In Manufactured Anger. “Rep. Gerry Connolly (Va.), president of the freshman Democratic class, warned that right-wing groups are taking things to ‘a dangerous level’ by manufacturing anger based on false information. ‘When you look at the fervor of some of these people who are all being whipped up by the right-wing talking heads on Fox, to me, you’re crossing a line,’ Connolly said. ‘They’re inciting people to riot with just total distortions of facts. They think we’re going to euthanize Grandma and the government is going to take over.’” (Jennifer Bendery and Jackie Kucinich, “Democrats Gird For Town-Hall Protests,” Roll Call, 8/5/09)
And Even Blame Members Of Their Own Party. “Moderate Blue Dog Democrats ‘just want to cause trouble,’ said Rep. Pete Stark, D-Calif., who heads the health subcommittee on the tax-writing Ways and Means Committee. ‘They’re for the most part, I hate to say, brain dead, but they’re just looking to raise money from insurance companies and promote a right-wing agenda that is not really very useful in this whole process,’ Stark told reporters on a conference call.” (Erica Werner, “Key Democrat Suggests Party Moderates ‘Brain Dead,’” The Associated Press, 8/27/09)

Republicans Want Health Care That Protects Seniors. “Republicans want reform that should, first, do no harm, especially to our seniors. That is why Republicans support a Seniors’ Health Care Bill of Rights, which we are introducing today, to ensure that our greatest generation will receive access to quality health care.” (Michael Steele, Op-Ed, “Protecting Our Seniors,” The Washington Post, 8/24/09)
Over 30 Republican Senators Told Sen. Harry Reid Protecting Seniors Must Be A Priority Of Health Care Reform. “U.S. Senator Bob Corker (R-TN) today sent a letter signed by 35 Republican senators to Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid (D-NV) which states: ‘Securing the solvency of Medicare and protecting this critical health care program for our seniors must be a priority as we develop and consider legislation to improve our health care system. We believe that any potential monies found through the reform of Medicare should only be utilized to secure the financial status of this program…taking money from one program with urgent solvency problems to fund a huge expansion of health care benefits for others is not sensible.’” (Sen. Bob Corker, “Corker, Senate Republicans To Reid: Securing The Solvency Of Medicare Must Be A Priority In Health Care Reform,” Press Release, 7/16/09)
GOP Congressmen Told Obama They Want To Work With Him To Achieve Reform. “We write to you today to express our sincere desire to work with you and find common ground on the issue of health reform. … We agree it is critical, and hope to work with you to enact legislation this year that improves health care for all Americans.” (Rep. John Boehner et. al., Letter To President Barack Obama, 5/13/09)

House Dems’ Bill Will Cut More Than $500 Billion From Medicare Over 10 Years. “The House bill _ the congressional proposal that has advanced the most _ would reduce projected increases in Medicare payments to providers by more than $500 billion over 10 years, a gross cut of about 7 percent over the period. But the legislation would also plow nearly $300 billion back into the program, mainly to sweeten payments to doctors. That still leaves a net cut of more than $200 billion, which would be used to offset new federal subsidies for workers and their families now lacking health insurance.” (Ricardo Alonso-Zaldivar, “Seniors Uneasy Over Medicare Cuts In Overhaul,” The Associated Press, 7/30/09)
Obama Wants To Use Money From This Cut To Pay For Health Care Reform. “In his weekly address, President Barack Obama announced new Medicare and Medicaid savings proposals that will contribute more than $300 billion over 10 years to paying for health care reform, beyond the historic $635 billion down payment included in his FY 2010 Budget.” (White House, “Weekly Address,” Press Release, 6/13/09)

Which Could Lead To Rationing Medical Care Based On Age. “The complete lives system discriminates against older people … Unlike allocation by sex or race, allocation by age is not invidious discrimination; every person lives through different life stages rather than being a single age. Even if 25-year-olds receive priority over 65-year-olds, everyone who is 65 years now was previously 25 years.” (Govind Persad, Alan Wertheimer, Ezekiel J Emanuel, “Principles For Allocation Of Scarce Medical Interventions,” Lancet 2009; 373: 423–31, 1/31/09)

Excellent composition brief and to the point. A strong move to protect our senior citizens. God bless all! -rev.mac
Is there anyone left in the GOP who can see how ridiculous this is? I know politicians traffic in talking points, but these are based purely on paranoia that the Republicans have generated. Good god almighty, I hope the American people don't buy this load of garbage.
Yes, there are plenty of us Seniors who see the outright scary part of this administration and its thug tactics. That one gentleman who made the statement to Hoyer about Obama being in a hurry to ram this health bill down our throats but yet took 6 months to decide what dog to get was "Target Right On." And, why are you invoking the name of God? That's God with a capital G. This message certainly resonates with other Seniors I know. I do NOT believe anything the Democrats are saying about this HR-3200 bill. I have read most of it and it IS creepy and a lot of payouts to ACORN and the Unions and other creepy groups. It will NOT solve our health care problems, it WILL make them worse, much worse. People like you and the Democrats and the AARP can all go stand in the unemployment lines in 2010 and 2012. We ARE taking our America back.
Are you a senior citizen – 65 plus? Do you really find it is ridiculous to question what the new bill is proposing, not only for seniors but someday the next generation will be seniors too. Prehaps you and all those who do not understand (many congressman) why the concern and as you call it "paranoia" should read the bill thoroughly. You may be thanking the people someday who cared enough to protect the rights of individuals, and not just seniors.
Wendy, I hope you take another look at this 100% Federal Government program which will duplicate what already works with quality; be the sole determiner of reimbursement for care & therefore the decider of who gets what care, where, when, how much, and what duration which already occur now with Medicare, but will become an abyss of regulations for cost containment which simply destroy anotherwise highest quality of health even compared to Great Britain or Canada which do not have the size, varieability of care needs the USA does.
I am 65 years old. I've lived through Korean, the Cuban Missile Crisis, Vietnam, and on and on. I have never been as frightened for my country and the well being of it's citizens as I am now. Garbage.? Paranoia? Please read up on your president's associations and activities. They are fact, not scare tactics generated by the Republican party.
They are fact, not scare tactics generated by the Republican party? The fact you have lived through all these things yet are frightened by a slightly left-wing president like he is Chavez or Lenin (or Hitler) show otherwise.
Garbage? Paranoia? For sure. What would Buckley think of this freak show….
That's right, Fact! Not scare tactics. Obama's associations with radicals is thoroughly documented, and not in contention. This is all is readily available on the web, including things like Obama's own books, if you are worried about the source. If you have not learned this information, then that is a failing on your part, and not "paranoia" or "garbage" on our part. Please be informed before making statements.
Being uninformed and just believing what politicians say is no longer acceptable.
In my humble opinion President Obama is trying to help too many people who have never had health care, they didn't work for health care, and they want the government and the US citizens to support them. When I retired to take care of my Daddy who had terminal cancer and my mother who has Alzheimer's I was paying over $500 a month for my health care and that was on Cobra with my work. Nobody (especially the government) helped me! I did without and I'm still doing it. I want to be able to choose my doctor and I don't like it when my insurance company tells me I cannot have a drug my doctor prescribed. I also don't like it when I have to "get permission" from my insurance company to take a certain drug. And what's up with the "donut hole"? That is ridiculous! An insurance company should continue paying for your drugs as long as you are able to pay your premiums! This "Senior's Bill Of Rights" seems simple to understand and I think it would certainly save the tax payers from being even further in debt. I'm sure I won't live to see the end of this and I feel terrible that my daughter will have to suffer because one man wanted to show the world how powerful he is and is getting us deeper in debt unless we citizens stop him.
Now this is exactly how the US healthcare system works!! It 's run by insurance companies. Remember only people who can afford great health care get can get it in this country..and the rest get nothing at all. Republicans have been in power for the past 8 years…and they left us the a war with no end and nothing in healthcare, poor economy and can't understand why in 8 months ,this mess isn't cleaned up!!! Why can't the rest of the american people get the same healthcare the government officials (Republicans as well) and soldiers are entitled to?
I am sorry for your misfortune. From what i understand, your circumstances happened in an era which has resulted in this need for change. I am sorry no one helped you….but would you have refused it if offered? I will not argue with you that there is something wrong with what happened to you, but isnt that why we are trying to reform?
I feel sorry for anyone who is naive enough to think this is a load of garbage for one day you too will be a senior citizen & what then when it's your turn to have the government decide when you should die or that you can't have the meds you need for your illness or the surgery you need to survive. I pray that all you people who are pushing this Obama bill of health will wake up before it is too late. I am 66 & this is very scary to me.
Cynthia:
I am a Senior Citizen and I know this is a load of garbage. Why cannot the GOP get its act together to help American citizens once in a blue moon instead of politicing all of the time? With the help of the insurance lobby they have brainwashed and scared the American people. Witness the top Senators who received frunds from the insurance lobby: Mitch McConnell at second place with $425,000 in the last 3 years second to John McCain with $546,000. No wonder they want to delay and delay doing anything to reform a system that has needed reform for so very long. Disgusting.
I do not want this President or any other President poking their nose into my business of any kind. My healthcare is between me and my doctors. I trust my doctors. I do not trust the President or any of his folowers. My husband and I pay for our Medicare and a supplement as well as our prescriptions. We worked for this. If we need something, we pay for it ourselves. Let's all get together and "push" for our rights. The senior citizens pay for themselves as well as pay for all the education and welfare programs. Welfare was meant to be temporary no permanent. The small "rebates" the seniors receive is an insult compared to the provisions given to people who never worked. My parents and I worked a farm and had jobs and it feels good to say that. If you want something, you work for it! No more hand outs!
The people without insurance, who cannot afford insurance, do WORK.
THANK YOU!!!
You do realize that Medicare is government-subsidized and government-run healthcare, right? If you don't want any President in your healthcare, shouldn't you be using only private insurance?
Just curious…
I am so glad someone pointed that out!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
leave the senior alone, we work all these year ,why hurt us we put money into the government for us to get some benefits now as we retire
I am a senior 68 years young. I do NOT want the govt telling me what to do with my health. To give health care to the illegals is down right wrong, as it is now they go to emergency rooms etc and get their care on us, we as taxpayers pay for them and it shows in our medical bills, they do NOT deserve the care from us they should go back to their country. I am still working I thought the golden years were going to be better for us. Obama wants to rush everything thru and the congress etc they dont have to take the plan they want to dish out to americans. No govt involement in our health care, the government has made a mess of our economy with the stimulus plus bail outs on our money. I did not vote for him and I feel for the people that did, what change did he give us, nothing but more debt.
way to go,Conniw! Obama is setting himself up to be a dictator! Those in congress should have to use the same insurance plan as the rest of us!
I don't know… if I saw someone get hit by a car I would try to help them without caring what country they're a citizen of…
Is that really wrong? Aren't we supposed to treat one another like we would want to be treated?
Maybe when I'm 68, I'll have lost my compassion for others as well…
well honestly michael, next time you see an illegal get hit by a car you can pay for it out of your pocket.
I say If your going to come into the US do it legally and pay taxes like everyone else (then ill be happy to sympathize.)
p.s. Im 18 and ive already lost my compassion for others….guess im screwed huh?
I agree with Connie, I am an 83 year old Senior, depending on Medicare coveraage, My husband, now deceased was WW2, Veteran, who during his lifetime, worked the last 20 years as a small business owner, and paid self-employment taxes, in addition to our regular taxes, we paid for medicare so be honest now and stand by your duty to repay us. Thank you, Fran
Great add. We must take it beyond the cable networks.
Where is the plan? Michael Steele was on TV and told me to go to GOP.com to see the plan. I don't see it. help????
Our plan should be another Contract with America !

Where is the Senior Bill of Rights? It's not even on here. You guys are full of it.
The ad is short and to the point, way to go.
I agree with what you are doing , so place a printable copy of the bill of rights on this web sight.
I would like to see all seniors carry it like we did with the contract for America
President Obama seems to distance himself from seniors. He speaks "of" grandma, but never "to" grandma. Medicare is the health insurance we worked for and paid for. It is ours not yours to give it away.
This ad is full of misrepresentations and contradictions. Just a couple:
No government "takeover" of healthcare, but no cuts to Medicare – huh? Ahh – Medicare IS government healthcare – that already happened years ago.
No government role in End of LIfe care – come on, this is just to pay for counseling. Yet it is being portrayed as a government hand on the respirator switch. And if government has no role in End of Life care, who is going to pay the bills – this is where the biggest expenses occur.
Gerald – your two examples give partial information and are also fraught with error. The real fear and what should be the real concern is the discrimination against some Americans based solely on their age. This is so draconian, so vicious, so ugly and so unAmerican that, should any health care revision contain such language or house a Trojan Horse that will allow it in the future, our great United States of American will be nothing more than a communist state. Wake up, boy. We are teetering on the edge of The Brave New World. Old folks first, then then crippled, then the mentally challenged, then everyone else except the "chosen few".
Hey Gerald, I'd have to agree with you that medicare is government run healthcare. So, if it is working
let those people that want it choose it and leave everyone else alone. As for "end of life care", give it any name that you like: death panels; HAND ON THE RESPIRATOR SWITCH; or whatever else. It still comes down to this. Someone's has lived long enough (elderly), so why pay for that operation ? But be careful Gerald, one doesn't have to be elderly for one's life to end. What if a 45 year old person needed a kidney transplant. Under the proposed plan the government may decide that it's not worth it . At one time kidney recipients were only given a five year survival expectancy. The government would make that call, not you , your family and Blue Cross.
The end of life counseling is not denying someone medical care they need. It is explaining what a living will is, or hospice care. The process already exists, but health care providers don't get paid for it. Many people have initiated "Do Not Resuscitate (DNR)" orders when it was found they were terminally ill. Doctors only get paid for a procedure, so he or she is not paid for counseling you about your options.
I find the website below to be pretty decent. Lots of good questions are answered that actually have to do with the facts. You'll see they don't spare Obama any slack either here since the truth cuts both ways. I know everyone is concerned and vocal and that's a good thing. But let's make sure we've got the facts and not let a few loud voices pull us every which way.
http://www.factcheck.org
We simply need to start an impeachment process on President Barak Obama
AMEN !!!!!
Fool me once, shame on you, fool me twice, shame on me! Can you say H1N1 KILLS MILLIONS! Obama may try to create a crisis atmosphere to pass his health care plan. Uner Healthcare Bill Illegal Aliens will be covered. This is a 'backdoor' amnesty. Sect 5 B pg 170 line 1. Any NONRESIDENT!!! Is this man not commiting treason? If he can do this he will get more votes from the illegals, he think that will keep him in office. We need to be very smart, and think like evil people do to say ahead of him. Also we need to continue to bring up the czar thing, we don't vote for these people and we don't have to listen to them. The House of Czars. If every czar has 1000 clerks, and every clerk has 1000 aides, who pays the freight? 34 czars at a cost to the pax payers of 34,000,000. per year X 4 years. Lets save some government spending now. How much health care would that help buy?
Two quick facts:
1. Reagan was the one who signed the bill that said hospitals must treat illegal aliens. Make sure you call him a traitor too.
2. Bush had more czars than Obama. (FactCheck.org)
No matter how sad the story, or well sounding the argument, the federal government does not have the power to create a health care insurance company or system. It is not within the enumerated powers for them to do this. It should end there.
"Bush did it" is no excuse. Two wrongs don't make a right.
I think we must think of our country, how many young men will die in the middleeast because of us not being able to fight like they do? We must act like police rather than people at war. And while we are sleeping Iran is going forward with plans to attach other counties. We have NO one that thinks AMERICA anymore. It is all about kissing up to everyone. And what is with Obama building an Army of his own? Does he think he is going to take over our country with out a fight, if so he better think again. I love America and freedom and would die for my country. God creates life and values It, unlike Obama. Obama is leading us into the brake new world as a third world country. Is this not treason? Ipeachment sounds very good to me.
tr surth
The cost of the thing is not my foremost concern. What bothers me the most is the power that the government will gain and the rights that we will lose. The government will have direct access to everyone's banking account. When they decide to make a withdrawl what are we going to do about it. They have trials in China, but does any citizen ever win, or are any ever found innocent of an alleged crime. Ever ! Whenever any elected official zero's in on the cost of this plan, that let's me know that, if the price is right, we're screwed. That goes for democrats and republicans.
So ! The Republicans have a plan. You say that you want to protect seniors. That's great, but what about the rest of us. If these people (congress) get the power that they are trying to allot themselves, all the other items will become theirs. How, In Jesus' name does anyone think that the seniors can be protected when these people will gain all this power. They are already saying "this is good for you, you need this". That's exactly the same as "we don't care what you want, this is what's going to happen. Cost will not mean a thing, if these people are allowed to vote themselves this authority. President Obama has mentioned changing the constitution, so that the President can serve more than two terms. Well, non of the elected officials want for themselves the healthcare plan that their trying to give us, they've admitted it. So, let's think this through. The president and congress are trying to create two distinct classes, the ruling class and the servant class. I don't think that they ever intend to leave their positions and become servant class members. This is ridiculous but it is also real. Those are my concerns!
Why have Seniors earned the right to healthcare? The current crop of seniors has consistently under-funded the medicare trust fund and passed on enormous debt to the current generation. A true republican would fight to repeal medicare, not guarantee it. The polsters and the RNC have seen the Dem's weakness among SRs, noted that it is currently the largest-growing group and are now pandering to them. My fellow Republicans, what have we become?
Open up healthcare & No Government intervention!
1. No Public Option! No CO-Op! – We have enough Government Agencies – We DON’T need Anymore Agencies!!!
2. Remove the restrictions on choosing insurance across state lines; Cost will be controlled by having competition between insurance companies and also among hospitals.
3. Every Person must carry a Basic Health Insurance (BHI), if people can have cell phones & cable TV they can provide Health Insurance for themselves and family.
4. Remove the Mandatory Health coverage that businesses offer.
5. The people should select the type of insurance coverage that they desire.
6. No Government management of Healthcare – No Government Health Records & Financial Oversight, It shouldn’t be up to the government to review or help with the public healthcare
7. Medical Savings Account for individuals that max their insurance coverage for the year, Critical Care & Uninsured.
8. Tort reform – Must be implemented!
9. No End of Life Counseling – it’s not up to the government to provide this and/or to decide that a person should die due to cost or any other reason.
10. Drugs – Make generic drugs available earlier.
11. Have doctors work in the clinics to work off loans & also have the doctor residents do the same.
12. Have clinics that stay open so patients wont fill up the emergency rooms and able to get care & check-ups & Have a sliding scale for payment; the clinics will be state run ONLY, if the State chooses.
13. Have nurses and PA’s do the minor work (they can prescribe anti-biotic).
14. Have the EIC & Tax Returns pay for a basic healthcare for the ones that can’t prove that they have coverage. The Government should hand out tax returns Quarterly and NOT in one lump sum, this way coverage could be maintained throughout the year. Responsibility for self & own family!
15. Mandatory identification, Social Security Number & Current State ID, MUST be presented to the hospital/ Doctors for service! Only emergency coverage for illegal’s and then the INS sends them home. We can’t pay for the whole world! MUST BE A CITIZEN!
Bill (Slick Willie) Clinton said 'let go ahead and get Obamacare passed and NEXT year, when you don't see any of these bad things come about, you will know that the conservatives are liars'. Man ! You talk about 100% deceitfulness. Clinton (Slick Willie) knows that if Obamacare does get passed, that it will not effect anything next year. It will not take effect until 2013, AFTER the 2012 elections. They really think that we (the people) are totally clueless as to what is happening in our country and world. But that is mostly our fault.
Because most of us chose to dwell in the "land of nod". We can do a lot more than just vote officials out
of office. Heck Fire ! A lot of damage can be done in four years. We don't need to give the devil an unchecked four year reign.
Wow this place is a hotbed of activity…great to see the party thriving. With Michael Steele at the helm I'm starting to feel real traction. The last 8 years of NOBAMA liberalism have led our country to the brink, we need 8 years of solid conservative leadership to get us out of this mess….
I am 69 and I don't want a government paid doctor to tell me that I have to have a flu shot or get vaccinated for whatever. I don't want the government sticking their noses into my alternate health care. I have insurance but I am afraid that if the government takes over it will be a one size fits all and since I DO NOT agree with most of what the FDA comes out with, I don't want to have anything to do with the government handouts. Stop the gag order on the insurance companies. Make E-Verify a part of the bill to insure that illegals are not benefiting from our hard work.
I am sick,B-cell Non-Hodgkins Lymphoma. I don't want my health Care messed around wih. I've seen all of the Adds and heard all of the Hype. I have never seen or heard anyone tell me just what is contained in "His" Health care reform and The language would probably read like something out of a starwars Futuristic Mumbo Jumbo. Don't mess with my Health Care. Like I said I'm sick but more importantly I don't want to loose Doctoers,My Physicans who treat me and I really don't feel like being used as a pawn in someone's Scare you to death reform. The scar tactics haven't worked before nor will they now. "JUST LEAVE US ALONE'
You guys are not the majority anymore. We WILL have a public option! 75% of the country is for it and you are all a bunch of corporate chumps.
Where do you get that number 75%?
Does anyone realize that most of the funding and support against the public health program comes from the private insurance companies. Wake up and begin practicing DEMOCRACY! A minimal level of HEALTH CARE is a right. Every other democratic industrialized nation has it.
Please point the the article in the Constitution that gives the Congress the power to create, take over or insure a Health care system?
Actually, I've seen the opposite. Since Obama was elected, seniors had their annual cost-of-living raise stopped this year, among seniors insurance plans, several have been asked to pay co-pays on all doctors visits, no matter how many times or specialties the doctors send patients for follow-up care. My own mother had eye surgery. She seen two surgeons, her personal physician and had to pay co-pays up tp $200.00! She's 84-years-old, living on a small SS check and a pension. If I didn't send her money, she wouldn't be able to afford her monthly medication expenses.
Now let's talk medicare;
My mother has private insurance, but medicare keeps sending her letters asking her to change to medicare. The letter points out that if they take over her medical expenses, they would deduct the amount from her pension.— $900.00/ month!!!
If medicare took over, she wouldn't have enough to survive. She'd have to give up her independence and live with her children. A lot of seniors don' t have it so easy. If their children won't take them in, they would have to live in a convalescent hospital.
Yes, reform is necessary and important, but not the way the Dem's or Obama have it planned out. Make doctors stop charging elderly co-pays, stop medicare from sending letters to seniors to intice them to forfeit private insurance and change to medicare. Medicare shouldn't ask seniors to pay them seventy-five-percent of their income to be covered!
Make sure each senior receives their cost-of-living wage. The way it stands now, with all the new policy changes, 10 doctor visits for surgeibns, doctors and follow-up care costs seniors $250.00/month, and if they don't have children to pay for it, then what– stop paying for medication, their phone, light or food.
To all Seniors:
Its time to get tuff! The AARP ads support Obama-Care, but if you visit the AARP website, they claim to be non-partisan. But if you scan other links on their website, the AARP shows they do want support for Obama-Care.
The only way your voices will be heard is if you send letters to Republican members of the US Senate who are fighting for your rights.
US Senator Jim DeMint is one to write to. Here's his address demint.senate.gov
Write a letter he can carry into congress to prove seniors are fed-up with government meddling in senior wages and healthcare. If congress doesn't hear from you, if they don't see letters come in to protest, there isn't any reason why they shouldn't pass a bill to whatever they choose. No letters or comments mean your satisfied with what they're doing in office.

Seniors:
P.S Copy and send this information to as many of your friends and relatives as possible. We need to get the word out and fight back. Letters and phone calls should do the trick.
We have been staunch Republican supporters, but we can not continue to support senators like Snow. She seems to support a real blizzard. We can not support the health tax on seniors, the cap and trade and the great climate change thing that has brought us the coolest fall and now "snow" in early October. What a blast.!!!!!! We need something besides compromise! We need to fix the corruption in Washington. Anyomne have any ideas?
